Silent Hill for the Xbox!

For all the Silent Hill fans pestering over the development for the HD collection coming only to the PlayStation, can settle down because Konami has heeded the fans desires and announced that it will be release the Silent Hill HD Collection (which includes SH 2 and 3) early next year. Along with the collection will be updated graphics, new voice work, and Achievements! What game would be complete without?

Lonsome Road delayed!

Fallout players keep it together.....Lonsome Road has been delayed for Fallout New Vegas! On Bethesda's blog they wrote, "

Hi everyone,

We just wanted to drop in here and let you know that due to circumstances beyond our control, Lonesome Road won’t be out this month. This isn’t due to any major issue with the code or content, but there are lots of factors involved in releasing these things, and one of those is causing us to slip past our intended release date.

We don’t have an exact date yet, but we’re working to get it out as quickly as possible. We’ll be announcing the final date, along with a couple of other interesting FNV-related items in the near future.

Progression through the Battlefield!

Progression has always been a big winner in multiplayer games such as the Battlefield series or Call of Duty series. Battlefield 2 introduced this system, while COD improved it. Battlefield Bad Company 2 didn't have any revolutionary ideas for progression and many players found it a hard and grueling task to continue leveling up after the level 22 mark. Designers Valerian Noghin and Fredrik Thylander talked in a Battleblog entry saying that, "more than 10 times the hardware unlocks spreads over weapons, weapon attachments, gadgets, and a huge unlock tree for vehicles alone." Players will earn badges, ribbons, and service stars (service stars will continue to unlock even after hitting the level 50 mark). The blog continued, "Anytime your killcard is displayed, everyone will see exactly how experienced you are with your current equipment," continued, " The ultimate bragging right would be for a player to achieve the rank of  Colonel with 100 service stars attached, and to have 100 stars in all weapons, kits, and vehicles. Getting there will be a massive task-consider that a challenge!"

Black Ops Map Pack 4!

The next DLC for Black Ops is not what people were expecting...an all out zombie pack! With the re-release of all the original zombies maps from World at War, there will be a brand new zombie map taking place in....wait for it.....SPACE in the new pack, Resurrection! Also included are three brand new songs and a zombie moon theme. Expect the dead to space walk into your living room on August 23 later this year.

Hong Kong, full swing!

Square Enix has just announced that the recently canceled True Crime Hong Kong, is being re-developed and is expecting a release date in 2012. The story will stay the same and all previous details on the game haven't been re-confirmed by the developers. We can't wait to see if Square Enix will bring the true Crime series to justice, or create an entirely new perspective.

Happen to live in the UK and are a big Batman fan? Well, preorder your copy of Batman Arkham City in your select store and you can get a really cool batman costume for in game use. Battlefield Cuts!

Recently in an interview with Gamezone and DICE head Patrick Bach, Bach said that Battlefield 3 will reduce the multiplayer figures in the game from the computers 64 players now to the consoles 24. Never has it been a better time to be a computer gamer....maybe.

Timesplitters 4?

After three amazing games in the Timesplitters series, Agent Cortez is due for a sequel anytime now. Well after digging for a very, very long time, we uncovered  possible news on an announcement for Timesplitters 4! Recently announced in OPM, "Gun wielding monkeys are finally making a comeback! A fourth Timesplitters title is to be announced soon." Here's to the possible GamesCon announcement! 

Brink DLC!

For all those lucky fans of Brink still playing it's multiplayer, the developers have announced that free DLC will be released on Wednesday August 3. Titled "Agents of Change", it will feature 2 new maps, five new abilities, and achievements to add to your multiplayer journey. The best part is that if you download this DLC in the first two weeks its out, you get it free! If you won't be online for two weeks, that free window will close and the DLC will cost 800 Microsoft Points.

Resident Evil 6?!?!?!?

The games news site Game Bandits has uncovered a image of what seems to be one of Resident Evil 6? The date on the picture is 15.09.2011 which would mean a September release this year. After doing some research, that date is the first day for the Tokyo Game Show later this year......announcement perhaps?
